Haridwar: Suspicion of illicit relationship again became fatal, lover had strangled her with a sardine, killing her girlfriend

During the custodial interrogation, the youth told that he had a fight with his girlfriend due to illegal relations with someone else, in which he strangled her to death with a sardine. The accused then tied the noose on the fan with the intention of committing suicide but the courage retaliated. When the canal reached for the purpose of drowning, it too was found dry. Now before he could think of anything else, Sidcul got caught in the trap laid by the police.  The mother of the deceased filed a case accusing the accused youth of shunning marriage and murder due to coming in contact with another girl. As soon as the information about the matter came into action, the Sidkul police raided suspicious places and arrested the accused youth Amit, resident of Mussoorie police station, Incholi, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh.
The incident is of Rawali Mehdood of police station Sidcul, where when the Sidkul police reached on the information of the landlord, the body of a young woman was found dead in the tenant’s room. On inquiry around, it was found that the deceased and the tenant of the room Amit were in a love affair for some time, due to which the deceased had to visit the room frequently.
