Haridwar/Pithauragadh:  03 persons were carrying liquor under the guise of school bus, Kotwali Pithoragarh police caught hold of the bus, also seized the bus.

Kotwali Pithoragarh and Jauljibi police station arrested a total of 04 accused along with illegal English liquor, beer and raw liquor.
On 07.11.2022, the outpost in-charge Ancholi Sub Inspector Yogesh Kumar Maya checked the school bus number UK05PA-0247 during checking at the outpost barrier by the police team.said bus used for transporting liquor was also seized.

In this sequence, during checking by the police team under the leadership of Inspector-in-Charge Jauljibi Shri Ashok Kumar, 01 accused was arrested with 05 liters of raw liquor in Jauljibi near Power House and a case was registered against him under Section 60 Excise Act at Jauljibi police station.

After arresting 03 persons from the said bus with two boxes (96 verses) of illegal English liquor and four boxes of beer, a case was registered against the above three accused in Kotwali Pithoragarh under section 60/72 Excise Act.
