Haridwar: Haridwar SSP is seen in action mode to curb the increasing crimes in the district. 4 days ago, the SSP had given strict instructions to all the station in-charges to prepare a list of criminals in the area. After which today 250 criminals of the district were detained under the Gunda and Gangster Act. Along with this, a report has also been sent to the District Magistrate to transfer these accused to Badar district.
Let us tell you that in the past, action has been taken against the criminals under the Gunda and Gangster Act, but for the first time it has been seen that the police have taken any action against 250 miscreants in the district. This action taken in the entire district has created a stir among the criminals.

Haridwar SSP Ajay Singh told that the place of robery, theft, cow slaughter, fraud and drug smugglers is inside the jail. With this vision, action is being taken against the criminals. Action has been taken against the accused involved in criminal cases under Goonda Act and Gangster. Gangster Act has been imposed on 107 organized criminals and Goonda Act on 143.
