On 14/11/22, in the Shiv temple of Katarpur village under police station area, the chief priest Ompuri  was beaten up by unknown miscreants, taken hostage and rob a box of cash and goods from the temple, as well as setting arson in the temple premises.
In the said relation, M.U.S. 632/22 sections 452, 342, 323, 427, 436, 323, 506, 392 Bhadvi vs unknown were registered in serious sections at Pathari police station.

On 16.11.22, on the accurate information of an informer, the day and night hard work of different teams of Pathri Police and CIU Roorkee and getting trapped in the trap laid by the informers, the accused at Bhatta Tirahe-

1. Dinesh s/o Ram Swaroop  Ferupur, Thana Pathri, Haridwar.
2. Akash son Teluram resident of village Vishanpur, police station Pathri, Haridwar.
3. Sanjeev alias Sanju s/o Mangeram, resident of village Vishanpur, Thana Pathri, Haridwar was arrested by the police team. ₹ 64010/- rob on the day of the incident, 02 illegal pistols (315 bore) and 04 live cartridges were recovered on the spot search.
