Uttarakhand: Uttarakhand Police’s 1249 Head Constables became Additional Sub-Inspectors, everyone’s face blossomed

There is good news for the soldiers of Uttarakhand Police. 1249 head constables have become upper sub-inspectors after getting promotion.
Shri Ashok Kumar IPS, DGP Sir congratulated all the promoted police personnel. He said that while solving the problem of grade-pay of police personnel, 1750 posts were sanctioned by the Honorable Chief Minister while creating a new post of Additional Sub-Inspector. After this, 1249 Head Constables were found suitable for promotion by the Departmental Selection Committee, who were given the post of Additional Sub-Inspector.
Promotion has been given. The morale of police personnel has increased after getting promotion to the post of Additional Sub-Inspector. With the availability of new commentators, the quality of commentary will also improve. Also, all constables will retire from the rank of at least Additional Sub-Inspector.
A total of 1249 Head Constables have been promoted from various branches/units of Uttarakhand Police to Upper Sub-Inspector (Civil Police Male- 328, Civil Police Female- 32, Notification- 58, Armed Police- 377, PAC- 422, M.T.- 23, Armourer- 07, Mounted – 02) are made. Promotion of 19 personnel has been stopped due to departmental action. 482 head constables could not qualify for the post of upper sub-inspector due to the eligibility of two years of service on the post of head constable for promotion, due to which these posts have remained vacant. Efforts will be made to fill these posts by taking relaxation from the government.
With this, about 3000 constables will be promoted to the post of head constable in a week.
