Military Conference/Criminal Conference organized by Additional Director General of Police, Crime & Law and Order, Uttarakhand during his visit to district Pithoragarh.

Uttarakhand/Pithouragadh: The crimes committed in the district were reviewed by the ADG and all the station in-charges were directed to completely curb the smuggling of charas, smack and illegal drugs in their respective police station areas. Important guidelines were given by the officers to the police personnel through projector to curb the smuggling of crimes related to NDPS Act, such as charas, smack etc.
In relation to ill-effects of charas, smack, police officers/employees were directed to conduct awareness campaigns from time to time in schools, colleges as well as in rural areas, as well as counseling as required by the ADG. After that press talks were held with the media/journalists.
Information was taken from all the police personnel about their problems and all were assured to solve the problems. Shri Lokeshwar Singh (IPS), Superintendent of Police, Pithoragarh presented the works of Pithoragarh Police in front of the ADG through projector, which was appreciated by the ADG. ,
The program was conducted by Deputy Superintendent of Police Pithoragarh Mr. Mahesh Chandra Joshi. Apart from this, Additional Superintendent of Police (Telecom) Mr. Basant Ballabh Tiwari, Deputy Superintendent of Police Operation Mr. Parvez Ali, Senior Prosecution Officer Mr. Rakesh Chandra, Pratisar Inspector Police Line Mr. Narendra Kumar, Inspector LIU and all police station/branch in-charge/employees were present in the meeting.
