Uttarakhand/Haridwar:This time Char Dham Yatra will start from 22 April. The doors of Kedarnath Dham will open on 25 April and the doors of Badrinath will open on 27 April. According to tradition, the doors of Gangotri and Yamunotri Dham will open on 22nd April, the day of Akshaya Tritiya. Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj told that online registration for Chardham Yatra has started.
Today, regarding the preparations for the Chardham Yatra and facilities for the devotees, inspected the Badrinath police station and Hanuman Chatti Chowki located in Shri Badrinath Dham and took stock of the arrangements. Along with this, visited the ITBP camp at Mana, talked to the jawans and encouraged them. Worshiped at Pandukeshwar Temple (winter stay place of Shri Badrinath ji) for successful and efficient conduct of Chardham Yatra.
Instructed to keep the CCTV cameras installed for security in Shri Badrinath Dham live throughout the year. For the safety and convenience of the passengers, it was decided to open a police post for supervision in the under-construction temple complex, and also to open a maintenance post in Mana where the activity of tourists would increase.
