Haridwar / In the convocation ceremony of Gurukul Kangri University, about 1800 students of 8 years will be honored with Bachelors, Masters, PG Diploma, PhD and Gold Medal. Masters, PG Diploma, PhD and will be awarded with Gold Medal. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has reached Uttarakhand today on Thursday. Today he will attend three programmes. First of all, he reached the 113th convocation of Gurukul Kangri University. Here he will give gold medals to 182 students and PhD degrees to 181 students. In the 113th Convocation, around 1800 students of 8 years will be honored with Bachelors, Masters, PG Diploma, PhD and Gold Medals. Students from the year 2014 to the year 2022 have been invited to confer degrees at the convocation. During this, the Home Minister will be decorated with the honorary title of Vidyamartand, inscribed in Sanskrit language.Amit Shah will also participate in programs to be held at Rishikul and Patanjali after Gurukul. During this, Rajya Sabha MP Naresh Bansal, Cabinet Minister Dhan Singh Rawat, BJP State President Mahendra Bhatt, Niranjan Peethadhishwar Swami Kailashanand Giri, former Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat, former Chief Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, former Chief Minister Tirath Singh Rawat also reached.
Police will keep strict vigil
Police and intelligence agencies will guard every corner regarding Amit Shah’s visit. Apart from 1500 policemen, three battalions of PAC, three BDS teams will be ready under the security of the Home Minister. In terms of security, two SPs, four ASPs, 15 COs, eight inspectors, 66 SIs, seven ASIs, 99 head constables, 300 constables, 70 women constables, one TI, seven TSIs, 34 traffic head constables, three team PAC and three team BDS.
