District Rudraprayag police will take strict action against drug and liquor smugglers Campaign is starting from today.

UTTARAKHAND / The doors of Kedarnath Dham located in the district are to open on 25 April 2023, before the start of the journey, preparations are being made by all the departments of the district as well as local businessmen. The journey in the district goes on with everyone’s cooperation. There may be some such elements in your preparations related to travel arrangements , Superintendent of Police Rudraprayag has given necessary guidelines to all station in-charges to keep an eye on such unwanted elements from now on. In this regard, the Superintendent of Police has issued instructions in writing from his office to run a campaign for the prevention of drug and liquor smuggling, and instructions have been given to make available the details of the action to be taken on a daily basis. District Rudraprayag Police appeals to all to provide necessary cooperation in making necessary arrangements before and during the journey. In case of involvement in any kind of criminal activities, necessary legal action will be taken from the police level. Apart from this, necessary legal action will be taken against those who create chaos, create ruckus or do any kind of unwanted activity at Yatra halts including Kedarnath Dham during Yatra period.
