Haridwar: To improve traffic system, SSP Haridwar gave green signal to cranes and drones operating at PPP turn.

New initiative is being taken for the convenience of the common people, now cranes will run and drones will fly in Haridwar, now concrete action will be taken against vehicles parked illegally on the roadside, Haridwar Police has appointed 05 private cranes on the orders of Uttarakhand Government,
Under the pilot project, the third eye will now keep an eye on the traffic system/crowd control from the sky. In view of the traffic pressure, 04 cranes will be operated in the city area and 01 in the rural area, to deal with the jam caused due to vehicles parked unnecessarily on the roadside. And these steps have been taken to improve the traffic system and keep an eye on crowd control,
Haridwar being the main stop of Char Dham Yatra, seeing the huge crowd of devotees coming every day to take bath in Ganga, SSP is conducting a new experiment in Haridwar district for the convenience of the common people. Pramendra Dobal flagged off 5 cranes and 4 drone cameras in Haridwar. With the help of drone cameras, efforts will be made to improve the traffic system by keeping an eye on the highways and other roads and to get rid of congestion and jams, while the traffic system will be maintained by towing the vehicles parked illegally and causing jams with the help of crane machines. Will be repaired.
Taking cognizance of the letter sent by the Inspector General of Police/Director of Traffic, Uttarakhand, for improving the traffic arrangements and getting rid of the jam, the Uttarakhand Government, like Dehradun, has started banning unauthorized parked vehicles on the roadside as per the provisions made in Section 127 of the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. Haridwar district was given permission to operate 05 private cranes for removal. After getting permission from Inspector General of Police, Director Traffic, Uttarakhand, SP Traffic, Crime Ajay Ganpati Kumbhar issued a notification and approved 05 private crane operators who had shown the lowest tender, out of which 04 cranes will be operational in the city area and 01 crane will be operational in the rural area. Towing charges are proposed to be levied on vehicles lifted through cranes.

1- Chandracharya Chowk-Old Ranipur-Shankar Ashram-Aryanagar Chowk-Durga Chowk-Jatwadapul-Harilok Tiraha
2- Ranipur Mode – Rishikul Tiraha – Devpura Chowk – Shivmurti Chowk – Balmiki Chowk – Chandi Chowk.
3- Saptarishi Barrier-Dudhdhari Tiraha-ARTO Chowk-Sarvanand Ghat Tiraha-Jayaram Mod-Rodibelwala-Anandvan Samadhi-Alaknanda Tiraha-Shankaracharya Chowk.
4-Shakaracharya Chowk-Rishikul Highway-Premnagar Ashram Chowk-Sihandwar Chowk-Raismile Tiraha-Harilok Tiraha
5- Bus stand Roorkee-Malakpur Chungi, bus stand Roorkee to Rampur Chungi, bus stand Roorkee to Mohanpura will be operated.
