Haridwar:Strict guidelines have been given by SSP Haridwar to stop the incidents of vehicle theft and recovery of previously stolen vehicles.
In compliance with which, Ranipur police team did smart policing by checking the CCTV cameras installed around the incident site and arrested 03 accused Abdul Qadir son of Abdul, resident of Jhaujian Purkaji police station, Purkaji district, Munagar (Uttar Pradesh) and Gulshan son of Israr, resident of village Harra, from Pathri Roh bridge intersection. Arshlan alias Arsh, son of Mahdood, resident of village Garh P.O. Gadmirpur police station, Ranipur district, Haridwar, was caught with a stolen vehicle, Bolero pickup. On the suspicion of the accused, the Alto car used in the incident was also recovered.
The accused had stolen the said vehicle, Bolero Pickup, along with another associate Firoz to steal cattle. The search for Firoz, another accused involved in the incident, is ongoing.
