Haridwar:In compliance with the 15-day campaign being run by the Senior Superintendent of Police for the prevention of cyber crimes, today Kotwali Ranipur Police conducted a 15-day awareness campaign for the prevention of cyber crimes, in which the Inspector in-charge of Kotwali Ranipur himself conducted a campaign in Central School Sector-4 BHEL. About 300 students were made aware about cyber crime. In which Kendriya Vidyalaya Principal Mr. Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Principal Mrs. Taruna Kaur Madam and other teachers were present. Apart from this, Ranipur Police also organized an essay competition for the prevention of cyber crime by making students aware at Salempur Inter College Arju Public Junior High School, Salempur. An event was organized to educate the elderly/senior citizens and members of the public living in Ranipur area regarding cyber fraud. While making people aware, they were told to immediately give information about cyber crime on number 1930. During the program, all the students, elderly/senior citizens, public were explained the benefits of Uttarakhand Police App and were encouraged to download the said app and other apps contained in it like Gaura Shakti App, Cyber ​​Complaint, Domestic Servant/Tenant Verification, and Awareness was created regarding e-FIR sitting at home.
