Firing was done by an unknown person at a wedding ceremony in village Berhampur, information about which was given to Roorkee Police. On receiving the information, Kotwali Roorkee Police went to the spot and inquired about the incident. It was found that the firing was done at the wedding by an unknown person. Due to which Shashi’s wife Subhash resident of Adarsh Nagar was hit by shrapnel at two places but due to being related, the organizer hid the incident from the police and chased away the perpetrator from there and other relatives and the injured woman were also kept from telling anything about the incident to the police.
