Haridwar:Haridwar Police took strict action in the case of kidnapping and rape of a minor, both the accused were arrested after a swift raid.

A case was registered at Kotwali Laksar on the complaint given by a person residing in Laksar area regarding his minor daughter leaving the house without informing him.
The victim was recovered safely by the police team after medical examination.
On the basis of statements taken under relevant sections, two youths Akash son of Bijendra resident of Dabki Kala, Laksar Haridwar and Mohit son of Mainpal resident of Keshavnagar Laksar Haridwar were arrested and they were also charged with rape.
POCSO and SC/ST Act were increased. In the investigation being conducted by CO Laksar Niharika Semwal, police teams formed by raids detained both the wanted Akash and Mohit from different places.
Police Team– CO Laksar Niharika Semwal, SI Anshul Aggarwal, Deepak Chaudhary, ASI Pradeep Malik, constable Satpal and Naresh Singh.
