Haridwar:On the occasion of Buddha Purnima, Inspector General of Police, Garhwal Zone, Karan Singh Nagnyal will reach Haridwar late evening and take security arrangements for Ganga Aarti and bathing festival of nearby places via Sanjay Bridge.

This evening, the Inspector General of Police, Garhwal Zone, after reaching Haridwar, took stock of the traffic and security arrangements of the district on the occasion of Buddha Purnima Snan festival and toured the area along with other police officers of the district and all the gazetted police officers in the control room And the security arrangements were reviewed with the zonal and sector in-charges and while discussing the shortcomings found during the tour, appropriate guidelines were given to the concerned sector in-charges. It was informed that the crowd of pilgrims coming during Char Dham. Considering this, this fair will be quite a challenge for which we have to make complete preparations and conduct this fair safely by making mutual coordination with the society and police force.
