Haridwar Police on High Alert During Barawafat Procession, Monitoring with Drones, Heavy Police Deployment on Routes

Haridwar police remained fully alert and vigilant in view of the Barawafat procession. Extensive security arrangements had been made in advance to maintain communal harmony and peace.
A sufficient number of police personnel were deployed at key locations across the district, including mosques, shrines, and designated procession routes. Special vigilance was maintained in sensitive areas, with senior officials conducting continuous inspections.
To ensure smooth traffic management, the traffic police prepared alternative route plans. Barricading and diversions were set up to prevent any disruption along the procession routes.
Station house officers and police post in-charges remained active in their respective areas. Surveillance was carried out with the help of drones and CCTV cameras to avert any untoward incident.
Haridwar Police appealed to the public not to pay attention to rumors, to maintain brotherhood and harmony, and to extend full cooperation to the police administration.
