Haridwar Police’s Operation Recovery is bringing smiles back to the faces of many. For those who had lost all hope of finding their missing mobile phones, the police have given them a special gift — their recovered devices. The phones were duly handed over to their rightful owners, who in turn praised the efficiency and dedication of Haridwar Police.
Once again, Haridwar Police, with their vigilance and swift action, have managed to restore happiness to mobile owners who had lost their valuable devices. Under the leadership of SSP Haridwar, Mr. Pramendra Singh Dobal, Operation Recovery has yielded significant results with the help of the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal. Police successfully recovered 46 lost and stolen mobile phones worth an estimated ₹9.12 lakh.
SSP Dobal had issued clear instructions that all complaints received on the CEIR portal must be acted upon immediately so that victims could get timely relief. Acting promptly on his directions, Kotwali Nagar Police ensured the successful recovery of the devices.
Interestingly, the recovered mobile phones were not limited to Uttarakhand alone but were traced to states such as Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Kashmir, Andhra Pradesh, and several others.
The mobile owners, many of whom had lost hope, expressed immense gratitude and admiration for Haridwar Police’s transparent and effective working style. Several people acknowledged that this initiative not only solved their personal grievances but also strengthened their trust in the police force.
