GRP ALERT ISSUED AHEAD OF FESTIVE SEASONIntensive Checking Drives Continue Across All Railway Stations

In compliance with the directions of SP GRP, a comprehensive alert has been issued across the GRP jurisdiction in view of the upcoming Diwali festival. Continuous checking operations were carried out at all railway stations, including platforms, ticket counters, parking areas, and both male and female waiting rooms.
Passengers were advised to remain vigilant against pickpockets, drug peddlers, and chain/mobile snatchers. They were also urged to take care of their belongings and children during travel, refrain from carrying inflammable substances in trains, and promptly report any unattended luggage or suspicious persons at railway stations or onboard trains to GRP, RPF, or the Railway Helpline (139).
Additionally, passengers were made aware of cybercrime prevention measures and informed about the Cyber Helpline Number 1930 for immediate assistance in case of online fraud or suspicious activity.
