SIDCUL Police Intensify Foot Patrols Ahead of Festive Season — Encroachments Removed, Vehicles Seized, 30 Challans Issued

During the foot patrol carried out in the markets under SIDCUL Police Station area, encroachments were removed, and action was taken against miscreants and suspicious individuals. A total of 4 motorcycles were seized and 30 challans were issued.
As per the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, instructions were given to conduct foot patrols across the district. In compliance with these orders, on October 15, 2025, SIDCUL Police carried out a foot patrol with the available police force in the Rawali Mahdud market area.
During the operation, encroachments made in view of the upcoming Diwali festival were cleared, and vehicles without number plates and suspicious persons were thoroughly checked. This resulted in the seizure of four vehicles, along with 15 challans sent to the Hon’ble Court and 11 challans settled through on-the-spot cash compounding.
The SIDCUL Police stated that such foot patrols will continue regularly in the future to ensure public safety and peace during the festive season.
