A Special and Significant Meeting of the Media Federation of India Held in Haridwar; Yogesh Kumar Sharma Elected Unopposed as District President with United Confidence

A significant meeting of journalists under the banner of Media Federation of India was organized on Tuesday at Hotel Skoga, Old Ranipur Mod, Haridwar, in a cordial and harmonious atmosphere. A large number of journalists from across the district participated in the meeting and unanimously took membership of the organization.
During the meeting, various pressing issues related to journalists were discussed in detail. Journalists shared their views on important topics such as journalist safety, fair and impartial journalism, organizational support in cases of harassment, and protection of journalists’ rights. All present resolved collectively to further strengthen the voice of journalists through the Media Federation of India and to wage an organized struggle against injustice, pressure, and exploitation.
On this occasion, Yogesh Kumar Sharma was unanimously elected unopposed as the District President of the Media Federation of India, Haridwar. The formal announcement was made by Dr. Arjun Nagayan. All the journalists present congratulated and extended their best wishes to the newly elected president.
After being elected, Yogesh Kumar Sharma expressed his gratitude to all journalists and stated that the organization would stand firmly with every journalist in times of joy and sorrow. He emphasized that continuous efforts would be made to build a strong, united, and impartial journalists’ organization.
The meeting was conducted by Dr. Arjun Nagayan, who stated that the Media Federation of India, Haridwar, would continue to function actively under his guidance.
On this occasion, Bahadrabad Press Club President Sanat Sharma, along with his entire team, announced their full support for the Media Federation of India. District President Yogesh Kumar Sharma welcomed and felicitated the Bahadrabad Press Club President and his team.
National President of the Media Federation of India Arun Sharma, State President Anil Sati, and State General Secretary M.M. Pandey also congratulated the newly elected District President Yogesh Kumar Sharma via video call and interacted with the journalists present, wishing them a bright future.
The meeting was attended by Legal Advisor Renu Upadhyay, Dr. Ragni Gupta, Vivek Sharma, Hitesh Chauhan, Hitesh Kathuria, Ashwani Verma, Devesh Verma, Shahid, Gulfam Ali, and several other journalist colleagues.
