FREE HEALTH CAMP ORGANISED AT HARIDWAR ROSNABAD POLICE LINES UNDER “HEALTHY POLICE, SAFE SOCIETY” INITIATIVE

Under the vision of “Healthy Police, Safe Society”, a free health camp was successfully organised at the Haridwar Police Lines on the initiative of the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Haridwar, with the support of Kailash Hospital, Dehradun.
During the camp, 106 police personnel and their family members availed themselves of specialised medical services. The medical team from Kailash Hospital conducted free health check-ups, including Blood Pressure (BP), Blood Sugar, and ECG (Electrocardiogram) examinations, and also provided expert health consultations.
Specialist doctors from Kailash Hospital, Dehradun, rendered their services at the camp, including Dr. Nigam (General Physician), Dr. Riya (Gynaecologist), Dr. Yagya (Cardiologist), and Dr. Payal (Dietician). The camp was also supported by Hemant Tyagi, Vijendra Kandari, Sagar, and Lavi, who played an active role in its smooth conduct.
Keeping the winter season in mind, doctors advised police personnel to maintain a balanced diet, avoid excessive consumption of oil, ghee, and fatty foods, and drink adequate warm water to prevent seasonal and lifestyle-related diseases. The cardiologist specifically warned that excessive intake of oily and heavy food during winters may increase the risk of heart-related ailments.
On this occasion, Ms. Nisha Yadav, Superintendent of Police / Circle Officer Lines, Jitendra Chaudhary, Superintendent of Police / Circle Officer Jwalapur, Praveen Alok, Reserve Inspector, Police Lines Haridwar, Sub-Inspector Armed Police Bharat Singh Rawat, Sub-Inspector Armed Police Praveen Kumar, Assistant Sub-Inspector Vikram Tomar, along with other police officers and personnel, were present.
The initiative was widely appreciated by police personnel, who described the health camp as a meaningful step towards ensuring their well-being and reinforcing the commitment to a healthier police force and a safer society.
