Major Action by SIDCUL Police Rewarded Gangster Act Accused Arrested in Haridwar; Strict Directives from Haridwar Senior Superintendent of Police Against Criminals

SIDCUL / The strict policy adopted by the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, against criminals is now clearly visible on the ground. Continuous and effective action across the district has tightened the noose around drug traffickers and organized criminals. In this ongoing drive, SIDCUL Police Station achieved a major success.
Sanju, son of Sulekchand (age 33), a resident of Chauhan Market, Rawali Mahdood, Police Station SIDCUL, District Haridwar, who was wanted under the Gangster Act and carried a reward of ₹5,000, has been arrested by the police. The accused had been absconding since the registration of the case and was frequently changing his hideouts to evade arrest. A non-bailable arrest warrant had also been issued against him by the Hon’ble Court.
SIDCUL police had been conducting continuous raids at his possible hideouts. By activating the informer network and using mobile surveillance, the police team successfully arrested the accused from an open ground in front of Cheetal Dairy in the SIDCUL area.
Appreciable Role of the Police Team
The successful operation was carried out under the leadership of Station House Officer Nitesh Sharma, Sub-Inspector Devendra Tomar, Head Constable Deshraj, Constable Rohit, and Constable Anil, who played key roles in the arrest.
The Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, appreciated the team’s efforts and made it clear that the campaign against crime and drug trafficking in the district will continue with the same strictness. There is no place for criminals in the district.
