A Big Holi Gift from Haridwar Police: 140 Lost Mobile Phones Worth ₹3.5 Million Recovered, Smiles Restored Through Operation Recovery

SIDCUL NEWS  / On the occasion of Holi, Haridwar Police gave a remarkable gift to the public—one that many had almost lost hope of receiving. Under the leadership of SSP Haridwar Navneet Singh Bhullar, a special drive titled Operation Recovery led to a major success. The SIDCUL police station team recovered around 140 lost mobile phones worth over ₹35 lakh (₹3.5 million).
Major Breakthrough Through the CEIR Portal
Following the SSP’s directions, district police were instructed to take swift action on complaints registered on the Central Equipment Identity Register (C.E.I.R.) portal. Acting on these orders, the SIDCUL police station conducted thorough investigations with technical assistance and successfully traced 140 missing mobile phones.
The recovered devices include phones belonging to employees working in SIDCUL-based companies who had come to Haridwar from other states for employment, as well as several local residents whose phones were also returned.
Smiles Return to Mobile Owners
