Haridwar: Senior Superintendent of Police, Railway Dadanpal told that the police station GRP Haridwar received information from 112 that there was information about a bomb in the Mela special train coming from Delhi. Seeing the seriousness, everyone swung into action and immediately the higher officials were informed. When the train arrived, all the passengers got down and checked. Immediately on the spot Additional Railway Police Officer Ms. Aruna Bharti was present on Platform No 9. Along with dog squad team, ambulance and fire brigade were called.
The informer was caught within a few hours. He was traveling by train. On asking other passengers, it came to know that the young man sat in the train in an intoxicated state from Delhi itself. On the way, the water bottle already kept with him had liquor which he was coming beaten up. He also had a dispute with some passengers in the train. It was assaulted by the passengers. Now this young man (Rinku 35 years old) informed about the bomb in the bag to teach the travellers. Which turned out to be only a rumor and a false thing.
Accused : Rinku Kumar, age – 35 years, son Sher Singh Verma, resident – Panchavati Colony, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.
