Haridwar:In fact, due to the arrival of 1.30 crore kanwariyas in the last 24 hours, all the all-round streets, ghat highways etc. were filled in Haridwar city, in which all the police force of the district as well as all these wireless operators had a “very special contribution” in sending them out safely.

As their ability to stay awake the whole night shiftwise and looking at all the cameras of the district, all the duty officers were constantly told by them that which route is open till where, which route would be good to send, which cut when closed. It would be right to do so.

This is the first time that all the roads are running smoothly even a day before the conclusion of the Kanwar Mela. While a large number of Kanwariyas have returned safely to their destinations “without disturbing the local people”, by 6:00 pm today, despite the arrival of 125 crore Kanwariyas in the last 24 hours.Traffic is running smoothly on all routes.

This evening the wireless officers/employees sitting in the Mela Control Room were shocked when the workers busy in their work were suddenly served splendid pudding.

Captain Saheb Dr. Yogendra Singh Rawat not only fed the pudding to the entire staff but also ate it himself while sitting with them.
