Haridwar SSP Ajai Singh, while taking a conference of police deptt. at district police headquarters Roshanabad today, inquired about their problems and gave necessary instructions to the concerned for their redressal.
Meanwhile, SSP Ajai Singh honored 35 police personnel who played an important role in crime control and disclosure of major incidents by presenting their efficiency in the field in the month of May.
After the conference and felicitation ceremony, Ajai Singh started the crime seminar of the month of May in the presence of all the police officers of the district. Discussion was also held on the figures related to the disclosure of incidents and pending cases in Haridwar district in the last month.
While keeping a watchful eye on all the station in-charges in view of another Eid, necessary instructions were also given regarding taking cooperation from eminent persons of the society and not allowing any kind of negative environment to flourish.
On the other hand, while expressing displeasure over the delay in investigation of other more serious crimes, directed the Superintendent of Police, Rural and Superintendent of Police, City, to monitor the said pending investigations themselves.
All the police station in-charges and policemen were also stressed on continuing the action against the drug smugglers and arresting the gang of big drug smugglers by using small information.
If information of any kind of incident is received in the police station areas at any time, then without taking the information lightly, it should be sent to the Chetak or night checking officer on the spot and it will be the responsibility of the said personnel to inform the higher officials about the situation at that time. So that small incidents do not take a big form.
