Police Verification campaign in Gangnahar area, all 62 persons from 62 outlying states who came under action challaned under Police Act.

Roorkee: On the instructions given by SSP Ajai Singh regarding speeding up the verification process and running a concrete campaign, the verification campaign of employee / laborer / hawker was carried out today by forming teams at different areas of Kotwali Ganganhar. During the verification at village Bandakhedi, Salier, Padli Gurjar, Ramnagar factory area etc., the police team brought 62 suspicious persons to the police station and got them thoroughly verified. Out of which 61 persons were challaned in cash under Section 81 Police Act and ₹ 15250/- connection fee was recovered and 01 person was challaned under Section 52/83 Police Act by Honorable Court.
