Haridwar/Chidiyapur: Today information was received on the police station number that a bus of Uttarakhand Transport Corporation has got stuck in the Kota river near Chidiyapur in which a total of 22 passengers are stranded.

And it is inclined towards the river, a major accident can happen at any time.

On receiving the above information, immediately the policemen present at Chidiyapur picket and Shyampur police station reached the spot and safely rescued all the 22 passengers from the bus and all the passengers were sent to their destination in another bus.
Later the bus was taken out of the river with the help of a crane and the bus was also sent to its destination.

All the passengers praised and thanked the bus driver, conductor and police for their good work.
