Friday parade was organized in Police Line of Rudraprayag district. Regular parade practice proves to be helpful in increasing the fitness of police personnel and basic knowledge of policing along with weapon practice.

THE POLICE TODAY

RUDRAPRAYAD / Friday weekly parade was organized today on Friday in the ground of Reserve Police Line located at Ratuda. In the prescribed time period, SP Rudraprayag Akshay Prahlad Konde received the salute of the parade. Thereafter, the parade was started with a light run. The Superintendent of Police himself ran with the police personnel. Thereafter, after the collective march past, the parade was divided into different contingents and drill was conducted. During this, different ways of marching i.e. walking, fast walk, slow walk, ways of greeting etc. were practiced. Drill practice was conducted with empty hands and with weapons. The personnel present were given information and practice of handling, maintenance of weapons used in regular use.

S.D.R.F. present on the occasion of parade Information was given about disaster equipment and their use method, use of wood cutter machine and disaster management work with self safety.

After the parade, the Superintendent of Police inspected all the items of the police line and gave necessary guidelines. The present inspector and fire officer were instructed to regularly clean the police line and fire unit premises through shramdaan and conduct regular physical activities on other days. All the station in-charges present were also instructed to keep the fitness of the subordinate police force high every day.

On the occasion of the parade held today, Deputy Superintendent of Police Rudraprayag Vikas Pundir, all station in-charges, branch in-charges and 95 police personnel were present.
