Haridwar Police Achieves Major Success: 6 Scorpio-Borne Accused Caught After a Brawl at Tularam Restaurant in Dhampur – All Handed Over to Dhampur Police

haridwar/  night, the Haridwar City Control Room informed Shyampur Police Station via RT-Set that several individuals carrying illegal weapons were suspected to be traveling in a black Scorpio, likely moving from Nagina toward Haridwar.

Acting on this alert, checkpoints were immediately set up at Chidiyapur, Lahadpur border post, Night PC-2 Mobile, the night officer, and the Chandighat outpost. Coordination was established with Dhampur Police, and a naka/barrier was placed down. The black Scorpio was intercepted at the Chandighat barrier.

Upon stopping the vehicle, six individuals were found inside, who identified themselves as:

1. Naresh Pandey

2. Chandraveer Singh

3. Vivesh Singh

4. Rajendra Prasad

5. Himanshu

6. Sohan Chauhan

Some of them were found armed.

Given that the black Scorpio matched the description from the alert, all six individuals were detained and questioned. They admitted that they had gotten into a quarrel with the owner at Tularam Restaurant in Dhampur.

Haridwar City Control and Dhampur Police were informed accordingly. Sub-Inspector Vijendra Dhama, along with accompanying personnel Sub-Inspector Gopal, Head Constable Dharmraj, and Constable Prashant from Dhampur Police Station, arrived at Shyampur Police Station. All six individuals were then handed over to Dhampur Police for further action and formally released from Shyampur.

It was found that the 12-bore rifle found in possession of one of the accused is licensed.
