Haridwar Police conducted a special traffic awareness program at Achievers Home Public School under the directions of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, as part of the state-wide traffic awareness campaign.
Inspector Traffic-II Rajendra Nath organized the awareness session where students were informed about traffic rules, road signs, and traffic signals. The officers explained the importance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers, avoiding triple riding, refraining from using mobile phones while driving, and not driving under the influence of alcohol.
Students were also made aware of the significance of the “Golden Hour” in saving lives after road accidents and were encouraged to extend immediate help to accident victims.
Following the seminar, students were taken to Ranipur Mod crossing, where they actively participated in managing the traffic themselves. This gave them first-hand experience of real-time traffic regulation, after which the students expressed gratitude for the unique learning opportunity.
The program was attended by Traffic Sub-Inspector Pradeep Kumar Singh, Traffic Sub-Inspector Diwan Singh Tomar, School Principal Mr. Sarkar, and the teaching staff.
