Blood Donation Camp Organized in Memory of Martyr Hawa Singh Lamba; 72 Youths, Including One Woman, Paid Tribute Through Blood Donation

Jhajjar. In Dharoli, the village hailed as the land of the brave, the 10th blood donation camp was held in memory of Lance Naik Hawa Singh Lamba, who was martyred in the 1965 Indo-Pak war. The camp was jointly organized by Maa-Matribhumi Seva Samiti and District Red Cross Society, Jhajjar, at Shaheed Hawa Singh Lamba Government Secondary School. A total of 72 youths, including one woman, donated blood to pay tribute to the martyr.
Chief guest Nitesh Bhauria inaugurated the camp by donating blood for the 43rd time. Setting an inspiring example, Deepa from Mubarikpur village also donated blood, symbolizing women’s participation in social causes.
Several regular blood donors also joined the initiative, including Dr. Sandeep Gulia (26th time), Kamaljeet (26th time), Ashwani Malhan (25th time), Master Dharmveer Naharwal (24th time), Master Rohit Yadav (19th time), Pramod Jangra (18th time), noted Haryanvi folk singer Ajit Kumar Ragila (18th time), Sanjay Jakhar (16th time), and Neeraj Kumar (16th time).
The camp was presided over by social worker and educationist Sukhbir Jakhar, Chairman of Reliance Group of Schools, who himself has donated blood 21 times. Special guests included Master Harbir Malhan, Master Praveen Yadav, and Master Pawan Kumar.
The successful event was made possible with the support of Yudhvir Singh Lamba (President, Maa-Matribhumi Seva Samiti), Manjeet Singh (Shri Hans Bag House), Vikram Yadav (Kamla Medical Store), Senior Advocate Rakesh Lamba, Master Rohit Yadav, Master Satish Yadav, Master Ashok Kumar, and social worker Sagar Yadav.
To spread awareness about environmental conservation, Manjeet Singh gifted ‘Song of India’ plants to the first 50 blood donors, promoting the message of protecting nature alongside saving lives.
