Sidcul Police arrested five accused for creating a ruckus; all of them were spreading panic in the area with sticks and rods

SIDCUL / Earlier, a dispute and physical altercation had taken place between two groups in the Sidcul police station area over some issue, and both parties had submitted written complaints at the police station. For investigation and questioning, both sides were called to Sidcul Police Station on March 18, 2026.
During questioning, members of both groups started arguing inside the police station itself, creating chaos and shouting, and even attempted to engage in a physical fight. The police officials present tried to calm them down, but they refused to listen and continued to escalate the situation.
Considering the situation, the police took immediate action and arrested five individuals from both sides under Section 170 of BNSS. The arrested persons are Shobhit, son of Munshi Lal, resident of Village Udara, PS Mitauli, District Lakhimpur Kheri (U.P.), currently residing in Mahadevpuram, PS Sidcul, aged 22 years; Anil, son of Rajaram, resident of Devi, PS Mohammadi, District Lakhimpur Kheri (U.P.), currently residing in Mahadevpuram, PS Sidcul, aged 19 years; Sugriv, son of Mukesh, resident of Mohalla Kotkala, PS Pihani, District Hardoi (U.P.), currently residing in Mahadevpuram, PS Sidcul, aged 25 years; Rajiv, son of Rakesh, resident of Mohalla Kotkala, PS Pihani, District Hardoi (U.P.), currently residing in Mahadevpuram, PS Sidcul, aged 28 years; and Gaurav, son of Ramsagar, resident of Mummarapur, PS Hardoi, District Hardoi (U.P.), currently residing in Mahadevpuram, PS Sidcul, aged 37 years.
All the accused are being produced before the Hon’ble Court under due legal procedure. The police team included ASI Sanjay Chauhan, HC Vinod Chauhan and Constable Hariraj from Police Station Sidcul, Haridwar.
