In View of Upcoming Festivals, Foot Patrols Conducted in Sidcul Police Station Area Markets; Encroachments Removed, 10 Motorcycles of Miscreants and Suspects Seized, 30 Challans Issued as Part of Legal Action

Haridwar: Following the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police Haridwar, instructions were issued to conduct foot patrols in all police station areas of the district. Acting on these orders, on September 30, 2025, Sidcul Police carried out a foot patrol in the markets of Rawli Mahdud under the Sidcul police station area in view of the upcoming Dussehra and Diwali festivals.
During the patrol, market encroachments were removed and vehicles without registration plates, along with those linked to suspicious persons, were checked. As part of the operation, 10 motorcycles were seized, 12 challans were forwarded to the Hon’ble Court, and 8 challans were settled through spot compounding, bringing the total legal actions to 30.
Police officials confirmed that such foot patrols will continue regularly in the coming days to ensure the safety and security of the public during the festive season.
