Operation Recovery: Haridwar SIDCUL Police Recovered 70 Lost Mobile Phones, Brought Smiles Back to Faces, Appeal to Citizens to Deposit Found Phones at Police Stations

Haridwar Sidcul: On the occasion of Navratri, Haridwar Police delivered a special gift to the public. Under “Operation Recovery,” the Sidcul Police successfully recovered around 70 lost and stolen mobile phones. The estimated market value of the recovered devices is approximately ₹14.68 lakh.
The campaign, carried out under the leadership of SSP Haridwar Pramendra Singh Dobal, was based on complaints registered on the CEIR portal. Acting swiftly and with tireless efforts, the police were able to trace and return the mobile phones, restoring hope and smiles to victims who had nearly given up on getting their devices back.
Several of the recovered phones belonged to employees from different states working in Sidcul-based companies, while others were owned by local residents. Appreciating the initiative, residents praised Haridwar Police, noting that such drives strengthen public trust in law enforcement.
Police Appeal
Haridwar Police has appealed to the public that if anyone finds an unclaimed mobile phone, they should immediately deposit it at the nearest police station, police outpost, or cyber cell.
