Sidcul Police’s Major Operation: Two Drug Peddlers Arrested with Smack, Anti-Narcotics Drive Intensified in haridwar,

Haridwar: In a major success under the ongoing special campaign against drug traffickers, Sidcul Police have arrested two accused and recovered 13.93 grams of illegal smack from their possession.
Acting on the directives of the Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, an intensive crackdown on drug peddlers is underway across the district. On October 1, 2025, following a tip-off, a police team conducted raids and arrested two peddlers—Akash, son of Lal, resident of Tanda Bhagalmal, Laksar (currently residing in Samrat Market, Rawli Mehdood, Sidcul police station area) and Mintu, son of Mahaveer, resident of Samrat Market, Rawli Mehdood, Sidcul police station.
Both accused have been booked under relevant sections of law, and after completing necessary legal formalities, they are being produced before the Hon’ble Court.

The operation was successfully carried out under the leadership of Sub-Inspector Anil Bisht, SI Indrajit Rana, Head Constables Sunil Saini and Pradeep Kumar.
The police have affirmed that the crackdown against illegal drug trade in Haridwar district will continue with strict measures.
