Jitendra Mehra (IPS) Conducts Cyber Awareness Workshop at AIIMS Rishikesh; Around 150 AIIMS Staff Members Participate in the Awareness Program

Rishikesh, October 3, 2025 – Superintendent of Police (Crime/Traffic) Jitendra Mehra (IPS) organized a special Cyber Awareness Workshop today at AIIMS Rishikesh.
The objective of this program was to make young professionals, especially trainee doctors and working staff, more vigilant and alert against the rising threats of cybercrime in the modern digital age.
Around 150 AIIMS staff members actively participated in the awareness session. The workshop covered various types of cybercrimes such as Digital Arrest scams, KYC Update frauds, OTP sharing frauds, and other online financial frauds. Participants were sensitized to how even a small lapse in digital safety could cause significant financial, mental, and social harm.
During the session, participants were also informed that in case of any kind of cyber fraud or suspicious online activity, they should immediately call the National Cyber Helpline number 1930. The initiative was highly appreciated by the AIIMS administration, who lauded the police for organizing such a crucial awareness program.
