Haridwar Police Action: SIDCUL Police Arrest 10 Youths for Creating Public Nuisance on the Road, Locals Heave a sigh of Relief

Haridwar: Taking a tough stance to maintain law and order in the industrial area, SIDCUL Police have arrested 10 youths who were creating a ruckus and disturbing public peace on the road on Saturday. Their unruly behavior caused inconvenience to commuters and local residents in the area.
According to police sources, on October 4, 2025, about 10 individuals were found shouting and causing public disturbance in the SIDCUL police station area. When some locals tried to stop them, the situation turned tense. Acting swiftly, the police reached the spot and initially tried to calm the situation, but the accused refused to cooperate. They were then taken into custody under Section 170 BNSS.
The police informed that all accused will be produced before the Hon’ble Court today. Officers further stated that no one will be allowed to disturb public order or create nuisance in any public place.
Arrested Individuals:
Ankur Saini, Sumit, Mohit Saini, Nikhil, Deepak Sharma (son of Gangadas), Deepak Sharma (son of Satendra Sharma), Keshav Sharma, Gaurav Sharma, Ajay Kumar, and Nand Lal — all originally from different districts of Uttar Pradesh, currently residing in various colonies of SIDCUL, Haridwar.

The SIDCUL Police Station In-charge NITESH SHARMA stated that strict monitoring is being carried out to ensure peace and security in the area. The police also urged the public to immediately inform them about any suspicious or unlawful activities to help maintain a safe environment.
