Strict Action Against Vehicles Without Number Plates: SSP Haridwar Launches Intensive Checking Drive in Roorkee

ROORKEE / Under the directives of Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Haridwar, a joint vehicle checking campaign was conducted by Kotwali Roorkee Police, CPU Team, and Traffic Police Gangnahar.
During the campaign, strict action was taken against two-wheelers and other vehicles found without number plates, involved in triple riding, using pressure horns, or driving at high speed.
In total, 202 vehicles were challaned, and 47 vehicles were seized during the drive.
During the operation, Inspector-in-Charge Kotwali Roorkee Manish Upadhyay and Traffic Inspector Sandeep Negi also educated drivers about the importance of following traffic rules and practicing safe driving habits.
