SIDCUL Police Organizes Meeting with Roshnabad Citizens and Traders to Ensure Peaceful and Safe Festive Celebrations

SIDCUL. In view of the upcoming festive season, a coordination meeting was organized today in the Roshnabad area under the jurisdiction of SIDCUL Police Station. The meeting aimed to ensure that the festivals are celebrated in a peaceful, harmonious, and safe manner. The Station House Officer (SHO) of SIDCUL, along with prominent citizens, senior residents, and local traders, participated in the discussion.
During the meeting,  SHO NITESH SHARMA emphasized that maintaining peace, communal harmony, and cooperation during festivals is a collective responsibility of all. He informed that a special traffic plan has been prepared to manage vehicular movement efficiently during the festive period. Additional police deployment will be ensured in crowded areas, while arrangements for parking and CCTV surveillance will be strengthened for public safety.
The meeting also focused on public cooperation in the ongoing anti-narcotics drive, tenant verification, and awareness about cybercrime and “digital arrest” scams. Citizens were advised to stay alert and report any suspicious activities to the police immediately.
The SHO urged traders and residents to maintain mutual respect, avoid spreading or believing in rumors, and celebrate the festivals with enthusiasm and a sense of responsibility. “The true essence of festivals lies in peace, brotherhood, and mutual trust within society,” he said.
