Jwalapur Police Gives Festive Gift to Citizens on Dhanteras and Diwali, Recovered 38 Lost Mobile Phones Worth ₹5 Lakh — Owners Express Gratitude

In a heartwarming gesture ahead of the Diwali and Dhanteras celebrations, Jwalapur Police brought smiles to dozens of faces by successfully recovering and returning 38 lost mobile phones to their rightful owners.
Acting under the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police, Haridwar, the recovery operation was carried out under the supervision of Inspector-in-Charge Jwalapur, Mr. Kundan Singh Rana. Using the CEIR (Central Equipment Identity Register) portal, the police team traced and recovered the missing mobile phones, collectively valued at approximately ₹5 lakh.
On October 18, 2025, Sub-Inspector Khemendra Gangwar personally contacted the phone owners and invited them to the Jwalapur Police Station, where the recovered phones were formally handed over.
Overwhelmed with joy, the recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude towards the Jwalapur Police, calling the recovery “the best Diwali and Dhanteras gift we could have asked for.”
