Pakistan central government unstable!no-confidence motion filed against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The court is presently hearing the case
The Pakistan Supreme Court sought the record of the proceedings of the National Assembly conducted on the no-confidence motion filed against Prime Minister Imran Khan. The court is presently hearing the case on the legality of the ruling by the deputy speaker blocking the no-trust vote against Imran Khan.
Justice Akhtar asked, ”How did the non-voting violate the constitution? According to the constitution, a no-confidence vote is required within seven days. If for some reason voting is on the eighth day, would it be unconstitutional?”What to do about the no-confidence motion is in the rules, not in the constitution.Pakistan Peoples Party Senator Raza Rabbani and senior counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan presented their arguments before the court. The Supreme Court wanted to see if the ruling of the deputy speaker could be reviewed by the bench, he said, adding that the court will merely decide on the legitimacy of the speaker’s action.
