Garhwal Rifles jawan Suraj Bisht died during commando training, one jawan missing.

Chamoli: Suraj Bisht, a jawan of 19 Garhwal Rifles, posted in Bathinda, Punjab, died during commando training. At the same time, the jawan posted in SSB Kaldhunga Chamigad has suddenly gone missing.
Suraj, who went for commando training, was a resident of Kanshola village located in Narayanbagad development block of Chamoli frontier district. Due to Suraj’s death, mourning spread in the village.
Soldier’s dead body will reach the village by Sunday
The head of the village, Vikram Singh, told that on Saturday the army officials informed the relatives about Suraj Bisht’s death. Army officials told that the body of the soldier would reach the village by Sunday. Suraj Bisht, a resident of Kanshola village, had joined the army in the year 2018.
Suraj’s father Karan Singh is currently serving in the Assam Rifles as a Subedar. Suraj Bisht was the youngest of three brothers. His elder brother Pankaj is also serving in the army. On hearing the news of Suraj Bisht’s death, a wave of mourning ran in the entire village.
Pradhan Vikram Singh told that Suraj did his intermediate education from Government Inter College, Gadkot and his relatives live in the village itself. His other brother Neeraj is working in a private company in Delhi. As soon as the news of this incident took place on Friday evening, elder brother Pankaj, who had come on leave, somehow consoled the mother.
