Behind The Political Curtain With the current political scenario slowly getting into the middle of the pitch with the next general elections in 2024, Congress, BJP and other regional parties are beefing up their resources and planning. The news about leading election strategist, Prashant Kishore, not teaming up with the Congress because of his probable political ambitions, the equation is open now. Political parties are in a hurry to hire strategists on board despite having their own teams.
At this juncture, silently but steadily, one person is becoming the most sought-after political strategist in the country with record huge pay-package offerings. Dr Ayanjit Sen, a global political strategist, senior journalist and author, who also worked in the last US Presidential elections, is now climbing the Indian ladder in this pursuit, at a record speed.
“I am in talks currently. Can’t say beyond that. I always believe, professionally, it is all about not just to win an election but also how you make your presence long-lasting,” says Dr Sen, who is coming out with the world’s first socio-political APP – Sanyog. This APP is a state-of-the-art combination of thoughts and technology on a constituency level and now is becoming the hot cake for several countries.
“I always believe in scientific application with stupendous ideations with a futuristic mindset. That’s what my team and me are trying to do in India and abroad. We have human behavioural scientists, globe-renowned tech brains, geo-political strategists, political mathematicians, market researchers, analysts and the list go on,” says Dr Sen, who has also worked as an international award-winning journalist with the BBC and CNN in several parts of the globe.
“I believe in team work and that’s why I attribute all success to the team. The core team has jewels in Arti Ahluwalia, Niladri Banerjee, Subhradip Mukherjee, and many others from across the country and abroad.,” says Dr Sen,who is also a national advisory board member of South Asian Institute for Advanced Research & Development.
When asked, on a lighter vein, a Cardiff University alumni, Dr Sen, says,” I will never be in politics. Its best to make it happen from outside. Being a hard-core professional, I strongly believe in winning the game, silently. After all, the smile comes after winning.”
